❤️ Celebrating the Kindness at Work Honor Roll

Recognizing 21 inspiring stories of empathy in the workplace

This summer, I went in search of finding kindness with an invitation for all of you to join me. Kindness is the quality of being considerate, friendly and generous with our time, energy or resources. With all the ways work has transformed over the past two and a half years, moments of kindness in the workplace matter now more than ever. 

I created the Kindness at Work Honor Roll to recognize employees who exemplify empathy for their colleagues. Along the way, I learned many inspiring stories, from colleagues caring for people and pets during difficult medical moments to employees demonstrating daily empathy when faced with challenges in life and work. 

The honorees represent many industries, including communications, education, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality, design, marketing and tech. They work in different locations, including Austin, Bristol, Colorado Springs, Ithaca, New Orleans and Los Angeles.

I hope these 21 stories remind us to be kind because sometimes we know what’s happening, but many times we are unaware — and a little kindness goes a long way. Thank you to the nominators, Kindness Council and Ambassadors.
